The Westside Drive In has been around since 1957, and was purchased by Chef Lou in 1994. His goal was to bring his experience as a classically trained Executive chef to the setting of a 50s-era drive-in restaurant. He wanted to give his customers top quality food with convenience at an affordable price. The resulting restaurant was a hit, and is known all across the Treasure Valley! The Westside has been featured on numerous shows such as Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, State Plate, Man vs Food, and more! The Westside Drive In is also known worldwide for its iconic Idaho Ice Cream Potato! Where else can you get sit-down restaurant gourmet food through a drive-thru!?
